課程概述 |
本課程針對親子關係及親子互動,探討有關理論、研究方法、其對兒童發展之影響及實際應用問題。理論內容包括人類進化論、神經科學、依附理論、社會化理論、社會生態理論及動態系統論等。實際應用問題包括親子互動與父母身心健康、兒童虐待、發展遲緩/障礙兒童、親職壓力及親職教育及介入等。
This is a graduate-level course on the theoretical, conceptual, and methodological issues of parent-child relations. The primary goal of this course is to undertake a broad perspective providing students with an overview of the current literature, with an emphasis on both empirical research and applied implications.
The course will draw from classic work and recent theories on parenting and parent-child interactions, as well as empirical evidence from genetic and neuroscience research that can help elucidate the consequences of parent-child relationships for adaptive child outcomes across multiple domains and developmental stages. The role of biology, emotional, cognitive, and culture as well as their interplays in the development of parent-child relations/interactions will be addressed. The application of information in professional work with families will also be discussed. |

教學目標:修習學生在結束本課程時,應具有以下能力:
1、能理解親子關係及親子互動之理論,以達到批判思考及終身學習之專業能力。
2、能分析理解親子關係及親子互動有關研究,以促進專業科學探究能力。
3. 能理解探討國情文化在親子關係及親子互動和其對兒童發展之影響,以建立擴展國際觀。
4. 能由探討並整合有關實際應用問題,發展人文關懷之態度與培養服務倫理。
5. 藉由專題分析評論及口頭報告,建立批判思考及終身學習之專業能力。

The specific aims of this course include:
1. Learn theories of parenting, parent-child relationships, and parent-child interactions;
2. Gain analytic skills through critiquing empirical research;
3. Understand the contribution of parent-child relationships to children’s development from a cultural perspective;
4. Apply related theories and research into professional practice of working with families;
5. Develop abilities for critical thinking and interests in life-long learning. |
課程要求 |
Your grade will be assigned based on your performance in the following four areas: (1) weekly discussion participation, (2) evaluative critiques, (3) Topic Master presentation, and (4) analytic review paper. |
